A few weekends ago I got to meet a family of three little ones.  Mom and dad opted out of pictures (hopefully we will get together again for a whole family session), so it was just me and the three little ones.  We met at BayCreek in Cape Charles from some photos.  Big Brother loved the camera as well as little brother, but little sister I had to work for :) Thats the joy of my job and even though its hard work, I love it! EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND. even if we are getting kicked off a rental property.. haha. oops!  Thanks mom and dad for allowing me to capture your cuties!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

The P Kids {Virginia Children Portraits Photographer}

What do you get when you come across an amazing beach and three adorable kids? Well you get these three crazy, fun and beautiful siblings.

I have known A forever! And Im so excited that I get to photograph her beautiful kids. We met on a sunday late afternoon down by the beach.   Thanks A for allowing me to photograph them. Little S {Virginia Children Portraits Photographer}

Little S was photographers choice on the Newborn-Two Year Old Modeling Contest that was held.  He was so cute in the photo that i couldn't not pick him. When we met at the Exmore Park, he was just as adorable! Even though Little S didn't like my camera too much we got some great ones of him playing on the trains and swings and we even squeezed one in with daddy.  Thank you A for allowing me to photograph your beautiful son. Baby RC {Virginia Childrens Photographer}

People are always asking me where I get my cute props. Well this post will get you a few ideas on shops that I work with. Remember when I had the child modeling contest?  Baby RC won my girls modeling contest.  We finally got together for some photos.  Baby RC wasn't into having her picture taken that day, but we still got some really cute ones.  Every headband she is modeling are from my favorite vendors.  Please take the time to visit their site and look around. M & J {Virginia Childrens Photographer}

I love it when a client comes back more than once to have their children photos done. It helps me get to know the kids more and the same with them. Its makes the session go by smoother, or so you would think.  The W family has two very cute kids, one very spirited and one very quiet. They remind me of my own two kids :)
We met at Baycreek in Cape Charles. It was a bit chilly out but you wouldn't have known with running around chasing two little ones. It actually turned out to be a great day and session Thanks again C for allowing me to photograph your adorable kids!

With kids this age, you have to act like a kid to get THAT smile you want~ we were playing hide and seek :)

 This next set of pictures shows how much I mean when I say, you have to act like a kid to get them to want to "play" with you~meaning you have to get on the ground! Little M wanted nothing to do with my camera until I started getting the tickle monster out...

Little J the picture turned out great ~ you can stop crossing your fingers now :) How cute is he!!

Madelynn Turns Two {Virginia Children Portraits Photographer}

I can not believe that my niece will be TWO in a few weeks! How time flies! She just gets cuter and cuter!

John {Virginia Children Portraits Photographer}

I have had children smile, make silly faces, give me "attitude", pose, cry, laugh, but never run away from me. John was my first child to run away when I put my lens to my face. It was actually really funny. I had to catch him in action for some great shots, but it was oh so worth it. John is such a sweetheart, loves his swing set/slide, his papas cart and boat and his trucks.  He also loves to run and hide :) I had a great time playing John and I hope that I get to play with you again sometime! Remember my summer time contest I had? Well Gillian was the winner and we finally got together to do her shoot. HOW CUTE is SHE! I wish that I could have gotten a photo of her daddy making faces behind me :) We met after my fall mini sessions at Bloomers in Eastville and even though the wind was crazy, we had a great time.
