I have been photographing for Boston Avenue Babies for a while now, but really never have gotten around to do a blog about it. Last night i decided to have a fast shoot and had my oldest daughter model two of her gorgeous hats. Check out her shop HERE. Tell her I sent you :)

Red and White Elf Hat

I have decided that I am going to start posting a few more blogs about my girls, I feel like I never get any new pictures up of them. I promise, I do really take pictures of them too! :)

Baby Kinsley/ Virginia Newborn Photographer

Meet Baby Kinsley~ Can I say BEAUTIFUL! She was the sweetest, most cutest thing ever. The best thing about her is I will be photographing this cutie again because her mom and dad got my baby's first year package. I can't wait to capture how much she changes in this first year. At first all baby Kinsley wanted to do was watch me work, she didn't make a sound just watched. When we did get her to sleep she was a angel to photograph! This family was so into their new baby girl. I just love how they love her so much! I also got to get to know them through this session. We talked like we have known each other for a long time. I always love getting to know my clients on a personal level. It makes my job a little easier because everyone is more comfortable that way. Thanks mom and dad for asking me to photograph your beautiful daughter! Enjoy your sneak peak!

See you at 3 months! I can't wait to see how much you have grown!

Lauren & Ian/ VIrginia Wedding Photographer

On Saturday, I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful wedding for Lauren and Ian. The ceremony took place at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Mechanicsville and then we traveled to the Conference Center at Comfort Inn in Richmond for the reception. It was a beautiful perfect day for a lovely wedding.  Laurens dress was gorgeous as was everything else that was chosen for the wedding, but her dress was hands down beautiful and she looked stunning in it.  Ian didn't look too bad himself. There were a few happy tears shed as well as laughter and love being shown at the wedding. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day! Congrats to the both of you and enjoy your sneak peak~

Madelynn- Virginia Children's Photography

I have to say I have the CUTEST niece in the world. Sorry everyone else, but I do :) Madelynn just turned 18 months old. How time flies. I am just so happy that I get to capture how she grows. Marie and I went down to the park/beach by my house and was hoping to get some good one of Madelynn. Thank goodness for my oldest daughter making silly noises behind me or I don't think Madelynn would have even looked towards me at all, but she enjoyed the beach and water so much that I didn't need her to look at me the whole time. So without further adue, here is your little sneak peak into a 18 months old world~ Enjoy :)

I love you Madelynn Taylor :) I can't wait to play with you again~ Love Aunt Jackie

Brynna- Virginia Newborn Photographer

Remember my friend Kristens Maternity session? Well she finally had her baby girl. I went to meet little Brynna on Tuesday, and she was a dream to photograph. Slept the WHOLE time and let me pose her however I wanted. 6 days old, chubby checks and such a precious little girl, I'm here to introduce to you, Little Brynna. Enjoy your sneak peak :) I can't wait to come visit her again!

Beach Sessions/ Virginia Portraits Photographer

I finally had my mini beach sessions this past weekend. I couldn't have asked for a better day either! It wasn't too hot out and a little bit of clouds, but not enough to be dreary. It was beautiful and perfect and I had so much fun with these four families. The kids were all so cute, I wanted to take them all home with me! Or at least hug and squeeze them :) I had a family of 5, two sets of kids and I even had a couple who wanted to get more photos of them in their wedding attire. I also got to take photos of my OWN kids, I know right?? Hard to believe it! It was a full day of awesomeness! Thank you everyone who came out and made me love my job even more. Without further adue here is a sneak peak of my day(its a pretty long blog, but oh so worth it)~ I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do!

The S Family. I have known both parents for a long time. We all went to highschool together and I was so excited when Susan asked me to photograph her beautiful family. And when I say beautiful I mean BEAUTIFUL! These kids are SO adorable and SO cute! I had so many photos that I wanted to share, but I wanted to keep some for when they see their proofs.. so I had a hard time choosing which ones to show, but decided on these~

The J Family: Melissa and Bobby's children are absolutely adorable. Little H has the cutest little dimples that you can't get enough of  and a smile that will melt your heart and Little D has so much excitement that it makes me miss being that little again. Both mom and dad decided not to get photos done but I did get some without them knowing, especially of dad. :) YAY for being sneaky! ~

The W Family: Hubby Adam couldn't get off work, so Courtney decided to just have the kiddos photos taken. But thats okay because one day we will get the whole family together, right?? Anyway, so baby J was just too cute and so happy! He reminded me of my youngest Natalie with smiling all the time! I could photograph him ALL DAY! Little M was a typical 3 year old who loves the beach and hates the camera, BUT thats my favorite thing about 3 year olds. You capture them in their element and get beautiful photos without having to look at the camera all the time.

The K Family:  Erin and I have known each other forever. We were in school together. We played in band together. We sat beside each other in class. The list goes on and on. When Erin told me she was getting married I was SUPER excited for her and Marcus. Then she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was even more excited until she told me it was in October of last year. I was about to give birth to my youngest child (which I had her September 30th) and had to say no. :( I felt bad and had no idea she didn't get another professional photographer for her wedding. BUT since I was having these beach sessions, her and Marcus could finally get some photos to have on their walls of them in their wedding attire! I was again SUPER excited she came out on the beach with her wedding dress on ready for whatever I wanted to do! Of course, my first thought was Trash The Dress... but decided against it, because her dress was way too beautiful to do that kindof shoot. So anyway I did what I would have done with any other couple in their wedding attire, fun and in love photos.

NOW I know you hardly ever get to see photos of my own children, thats not because I don't take any.. I just don't have the time to edit my own photos :( I know I know I need to take some time for myself and do it, but.... Anyway here is a SMALL very small teaser of my girls. They will be more to come of these but for on, this is what you get :) I think it might have to be canvas worthy... i'll see~

Thanks for taking the time to read this long blog, but see I told you it was worth it :)
