I finally had my mini beach sessions this past weekend. I couldn't have asked for a better day either! It wasn't too hot out and a little bit of clouds, but not enough to be dreary. It was beautiful and perfect and I had so much fun with these four families. The kids were all so cute, I wanted to take them all home with me! Or at least hug and squeeze them :) I had a family of 5, two sets of kids and I even had a couple who wanted to get more photos of them in their wedding attire. I also got to take photos of my OWN kids, I know right?? Hard to believe it! It was a full day of awesomeness! Thank you everyone who came out and made me love my job even more. Without further adue here is a sneak peak of my day(its a pretty long blog, but oh so worth it)~ I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do!
The S Family. I have known both parents for a long time. We all went to highschool together and I was so excited when Susan asked me to photograph her beautiful family. And when I say beautiful I mean BEAUTIFUL! These kids are SO adorable and SO cute! I had so many photos that I wanted to share, but I wanted to keep some for when they see their proofs.. so I had a hard time choosing which ones to show, but decided on these~
The J Family: Melissa and Bobby's children are absolutely adorable. Little H has the cutest little dimples that you can't get enough of and a smile that will melt your heart and Little D has so much excitement that it makes me miss being that little again. Both mom and dad decided not to get photos done but I did get some without them knowing, especially of dad. :) YAY for being sneaky! ~
The W Family: Hubby Adam couldn't get off work, so Courtney decided to just have the kiddos photos taken. But thats okay because one day we will get the whole family together, right?? Anyway, so baby J was just too cute and so happy! He reminded me of my youngest Natalie with smiling all the time! I could photograph him ALL DAY! Little M was a typical 3 year old who loves the beach and hates the camera, BUT thats my favorite thing about 3 year olds. You capture them in their element and get beautiful photos without having to look at the camera all the time.
The K Family: Erin and I have known each other forever. We were in school together. We played in band together. We sat beside each other in class. The list goes on and on. When Erin told me she was getting married I was SUPER excited for her and Marcus. Then she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was even more excited until she told me it was in October of last year. I was about to give birth to my youngest child (which I had her September 30th) and had to say no. :( I felt bad and had no idea she didn't get another professional photographer for her wedding. BUT since I was having these beach sessions, her and Marcus could finally get some photos to have on their walls of them in their wedding attire! I was again SUPER excited she came out on the beach with her wedding dress on ready for whatever I wanted to do! Of course, my first thought was Trash The Dress... but decided against it, because her dress was way too beautiful to do that kindof shoot. So anyway I did what I would have done with any other couple in their wedding attire, fun and in love photos.
NOW I know you hardly ever get to see photos of my own children, thats not because I don't take any.. I just don't have the time to edit my own photos :( I know I know I need to take some time for myself and do it, but.... Anyway here is a SMALL very small teaser of my girls. They will be more to come of these but for on, this is what you get :) I think it might have to be canvas worthy... i'll see~
Thanks for taking the time to read this long blog, but see I told you it was worth it :)
